Short biography

I’ve studied Aerospace Engineering at University of Rome “La Sapienza” , where i have been specialising in Aerodynamics and Propulsion. I have been teaching in a short-course about hypersonic propulsion (SCRAMJET) at University of Rome, with the supervision of Prof. Marcello Onofri. I followed also some courses at the Faculty of Physics on Nuclear Energy and Plasma Physics and in particular i have studied the application of some MHD (magneto-hydro-dynamics) flows to the field of space propulsion with Prof. Giovanni Moreno.
I’ve been working in Green Engineering since 2003 , my main role in the company is to coordinate the commercial activities. I’m also responsible of the R&D activities in the field of biofuels technologies and quality of alcohol for beverage production. I’m also involved in project management, and in supervision of erection works activities on site. Recently (2008-2009) i have been coordinating the erection works of the ENA & Biofuels Plant realised in Malawi by Green Engineering.

Research interests

I’ve been involved in the several researches related to the biofuels production . In particular :
2005-2006 : Bio-Hydrogen production from ethanol by catalytic reforming
2007 : conversion of waste orange peels into bioethanol (2nd generetion bioethanol)
2008 : biodiesel production by ethanol trans-esterification
2009 : conversion of whey into ethanol
All these researches have been performed by Green Engineering in cooperation with the PUC (Polo Universitario di Colle Val d’Elsa) and the University of Siena .
