It is important to know which are the projects around the world that are involved in the study of the use of Sweet Sorghum for Bioethanol production.
Rob Smallwood, from AgriFuels Australia, and member of SSEA, compiled a list of all the sweet sorghum to ethanol projects.

Go to the following Agrifuels web site and see the links of sweet sorghum to ethanol projects. Smallwood has kept track of who is planning these projects and please contact him to list your project as well.

We are really interested in the plants that produce bioethanol, partially or totally, from sweet sorghum, at the commercial scale. If you know the existence of one of these plants around the world, please contact us. I think it is important to share all the experiences in order to develop better our model and other models in other Countries.

Thanks for the effort. But the list is highly misleading.
For Ex: NARI is not producing ethanol from sweet sorghum, they are marketing syrup, Anantha energy is not working on sweet sorghum. The list should be updated with primary info.

I think that is really difficult to know all the inititiative on the bioethanol production starting from sweet sorghum around the world. But I also think that it could be useful for all of us to have a list like this, also if it is not complete (there is really a lot of experiences in the world, but I think only few dedicated plants!).
So we could give our personal contribution to improve this list. One of the aims of this topic, for sure, is to start to create a new one, or insert new initiatiate in that list, or rectify the existing initiatives.
And, most of all, we are interested in the existing commecial bioethanol plant that works with sweet sorghum material: it is important for us to study already existing initiative in order to build a new European model.
    Thanks to all of you

    Dear Guys
I’m working in a new company and we are selling a product for sorghum. It increse the growing of root of about 700%, water absorption, and increase the production of grain by 30%.
Maybe someone of you know the azospirillum. Our product contain 2*10^9 CFU if azospirillum and the expiry date is of 2 year.
Our product is one of the best of the world in matter of quality and duration. We have the iso 9001 certificate and For sorghum only 200g of product can mixed with 50Kg of seeds. But the pricipal benefit is to forget the use of nitrogen.
If you want know more contact me

I’ll glad to answer you and maybe send 3/4 package.

Dear all, an update about bioethanol plants using sweet sorghum in the world is available followin all articles published weekly (plants in Argentina, USA, Panama, etc).
There is the interest for building a new plant of bigger size in Florida, by Florida Biological Fuels Corp., located in Weston. Also in Romania the interest to built ethanol plant and cultivate sweet sorghum is increasing.
If you have other news or updates about bioethanol plants using sweet sroghum please do not hesistate to write in the Forum of our esse-community!
