Dear all,
we usually prepare and develop projects to ensure an industrial viability of the bioethanol production from sweet sorghum. And this is perfect in Europe, but usually, we can find specific areas in Asia or Latinamerica where the production of sweet sorghum is done under no technification or mechanization and by poor farmers.
I would like to know how we can develop social projects to begin to prepare an area to potential industrialization, that can be considered the second step in the develop of these areas.
At the begining we need to ensure that the farmers could prepare their own seeds, they develop their own crops and produce a first type of products that can be sold with a low transformation (not only bioethanol). I think that this is the first step to increase the viability of a poor rural area. Once the farmers have obtain enough money, the investment is easier and the bioethanol or other alternatives can be an opportunity.
And… of course, we could think on the investment of great companies, but is you are a great company, usually, you are going to look for an area where the farmers have experience on the crop or where the infraestructures exist (roads, trains, power, and so on). I speak about the areas where the power is not easy to be obtained, or where the transport is very complicated…
But we need to know how to develop the first steps.
Let me know….
Best regards.
