About the community

The online community aims to build up a worldwide network among all the market actors, which are agricultural companies, farmers and local farmers associations/consortiums, fuel processors and SMEs, fuel distributors, end users, policy makers, public authorities and energy agencies representatives, investors, ESCOs, research centres, universities and NGOs. The community represents a reference site also for the stakeholders interested to start up pilot plants, benefiting from the information collected in the context of the model discussion foreseen in the Sweethanol project. This is an online service enabling professionals, experts, technicians and entrepreneurs to network with their peers from anywhere, at anytime in an online environment.

In the community you can find a database of potential chain actors, with their factsheets and contacts. In this virtual place debates and discussions and also the starting of new activities are stimulated because the members talk and ask each other about critical questions and also there is the activation of discussions on crucial topics related to the creation of future pilot plants.

In the community you can find a library of articles related to different topics, written by internal and external expert. You can leave a comment and also discuss on the forum, which is a discussion space open to all users. The blog illustrate in chronological order the articles and project activities. There is also a section for the events: you can find news, events, results, meetings, courses, and other. The members of the community can produce articles and updates to publish, also inserting a factsheet with their contacts.
